Is It Safe to Cast Out Demons?

One night while many villagers were accepting Christ in a remote tribe, one young girl started manifesting after raising her hand to be prayed for to receive Christ. It was like she was literally choosing to leave darkness behind as her heart desired to receive Christ. The darkness that'd been over her was not happy and was trying to stop her from receiving Him
There may be times in your life where you feel completely inadequate to do what God is asking you to do. This was one of those moments.
My Perspective: I'd just seen a young girl thrashing on the ground with strength beyond her years.
Thoughts rushed through my head,
"Oh no! What am I going to do? Can I help her or is it too dangerous?"
In a moment, as I saw her controlled by a spirit, God quickened my heart to go pray for her. I wondered, "Is it safe? Will I get hurt?", but I trusted God's voice.
In these moments, your flesh screams, "Don't do it!!!", but I've learned to quiet myself and simply ask God what to do, ... and for courage.
He just said, "God pray for her and trust me."
So, I did.
I rushed over to her asking for God to deliver her. Amidst her shrieks and shakes, I could see the young girl crying out for help and it broke my heart. Tears shed across my face as I believed God. Then all of a sudden, amidst my prayers, she calmed, opened her eyes, and gazed up at me from the ground as I knelt beside her, looking dazed.
Then I heard God whisper, "Just hold her now..."
I took her in my arms and carried her from the crowd. I knew something life changing had happened in her. One of our convoys was nearby, so I took her to sit on the tailgate with me.
Peacefully she said, "My head hurts, my tongue too." I thought, how symbolic. The enemy has had control of her life for years. It may have been an insight from God but I seemed to know that God wanted to restore her mind and speech (or the negative things she has spoken about herself and what others had spoken about her, which had marginalized her view of her value).

I then prayed over her the restoration of her mind and her value. Afterwards, I led her through accepting Jesus in her heart as she rested her now peaceful but fatigued body against mine. Afterwards, she looked up at me with the sweetest smile.
God quickened my heart again, "Ask her to dance." The throngs of the village were dancing all around us to a pounding African beats. I invited her to dance and we danced the night away!
We do not need to fear the devil next to the power of our amazing Father.
As we trust Him and listen to His voice, He will lead us to do unbelievable things for His Kingdom. Will you trust Him today? Will you leave fear behind to face the miraculous?
