The Deaf Will Hear!

Hundreds showed up to the showing of the Jesus Film in

the bush town of Mueda, Mozambique during Ramadan.

It seemed as far as the eye could see was a sea of people.

As we shared about Jesus, one of our team leaders called out, “The deaf will be healed.” Over the next hour ‘holy-chaos’ broke out as we formed a tunnel where hundreds came through to receive prayer.

By the end of the night, 3 men received their hearing. One of them had been deaf since birth & the whole village knew it. It was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen as I watched him repeat words after Heidi for the first time saying, “Mama, Papa, Jesus.” The name of Jesus was the 3rd word he ever spoke!

This was an amazing witness for the village chiefs, as they knew a higher power had been among them that was more powerful than their witchdoctors or mosque leaders who had prayed for the deaf before with no healing!!
